Welcome to the Plymouth Haven Youth Ministry website!

Northern Virginia can be an extremely hectic place to live. Life seems to run a little bit faster ‘round here with the constant activities, heavy traffic, and general craziness that comes with living so close to the nation’s capitol. With such a faced paced life that accompanies living in this area it’s easy to feel like a number- just another face in the crowd.

That’s why it is so crucial to be connected to a community of believers in Christ who you can grow with and do life with together! God didn’t create us to try to do life on our own. We need each other.

One of our core values is the Biblical idea of community. The students in our youth ministry, like many people who call Northern Virginia their home come from a variety of backgrounds and from many different places across the United States. The PHYM is not just a place to hang out and meet new people, but a place where you can get plugged into a group of people that will support you, encourage you, love you, and challenge you.

Whether you are a committed follower of Christ or just checking out this whole “Jesus thing” you are welcome to come be a part of this group!

The youth meet regularly on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30pm for a time of fellowship, food, and praise. We start with a time devoted to connecting with others through games and food. The youth band leads us in worship and we close with a devotional time where we are challenged to live out God’s purposes for our lives.

In addition to our regular meetings, the youth host various other activities such as movie nights and lock-ins, etc. See the events pages for more details.
